It was exactly what you'd expect from a discount hotel. A clean place to crash after whatever you were doing before you got there.

As far as Super 8 motels go, this place was pretty decent. We came here for a 3 night weekend get-away stay and ended up having car troubles, which turned into a 6 night stay! (Not what we had planned for) The motel was clean and quiet, and on a safe street close to restaurants. Housekeeping made sure our room was cleaned daily, and we were able to check out an hour late on the day we left since it took a while to get our vehicle back. Overall it ended up being a good place to be stuck at for the week. One downside is that our room kind of smelled Smokey , so we just made sure to buy some air fresheners.
This hotel was great from the start. I asked if I could check in a little early and "Mayor" was very accommodating & friendly. Check in was to easy and he was quick. I really enjoyed my room and how comfortable it was. The price was the best I could find in the Williamsburg area. I will be booking another trip to Williamsburg in a few months and will be using this super 8 again.
Spent 4 nights there this past week. It wasn't too bad. The people at the front desk were nice. The price of the room was decent. The room was clean except the bottom of the tub felt like it had some grease on it but after scrubbing I'm guessing that's just the tub. The hot water wasn't that hot depending on the time of the day. The bed was nice and firm. I'm talking super firm. I love a firm bed but it was a little much for me. I just went and got a foam pad and was good to go. Towels were clean and they came by every day to exchange what needed to be exchanged. And as other reviews stated that there were roaches. I didn't see one roach the whole time I was there. The only thing I saw was 1 big ant who accidentally got in. Anyway the area was nice and quiet and I really enjoyed my stay.
I've stayed here several times. It's a great value. The rooms have been fairly clean and it has been quiet. For the people complaining about Emma you must have came in the office with that bull. She is a sweetheart. She does not play games. You treat her with dignity and I promise she will reciprocate. I have no complaints about this hotel. It is a bit older, but the price is great.
Weird smell when we first got in the room but once we were settled everything was fine. AC worked well, no bugs that I saw, as clean as can be expected. Customer service was curt and professional. Great price for a place so close to colonial Williamsburg and busch gardens which we came into town for. There's some live-in guests which as always with a place like this are a bit leery and rough but they left us alone. All in all a quiet stay.
